Position Title: Store Assistant & Inventory Controller
Location: Bear Mart, Mawlamyine, Myanmar
Reports to: Store Manager
Department: Operations/Inventory
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary:
The Store Assistant & Inventory Controller will assist with daily store operations, manage inventory levels, ensure proper stock display, and provide excellent customer service. The role also involves ensuring that all products have accurate price labels displayed on the shelves.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Shelf Stocking & Store Maintenance:

    • Restock shelves with products as needed, ensuring proper organization and presentation.
    • Ensure products are rotated following the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
    • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store.
  2. Price Labeling:

    • Ensure that all products have accurate price labels displayed on the shelves.
    • Regularly check and update price labels to reflect promotions, discounts, or price changes.
    • Report any discrepancies between shelf prices and system prices to the Store Manager.
  3. Customer Service:

    • Help customers locate products and answer any inquiries they may have.
    • Provide general assistance in the store, including bagging items and handling returns when needed.
  4. Inventory Management:

    • Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels in the store and storage areas.
    • Regularly check for discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
    • Assist with inventory counts and audits to ensure stock accuracy.
  5. Stock Replenishment & Ordering:

    • Notify the Store Manager when stock levels are low and assist in placing reorders.
    • Receive and check incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality.
    • Organize stock in storage areas to ensure efficient access.
  6. Loss Prevention:

    • Monitor inventory to prevent theft, loss, or misplacement of goods.
    • Report any inconsistencies or suspicious activities to the Store Manager.
  7. Other Duties:

    • Assist in preparing product displays and promotional setups.
    • Help with any other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

Job Specification (JS): Store Assistant & Inventory Controller

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in retail or stock management preferred.

Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of inventory control and stock management.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work with basic software for inventory and price management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in price labeling.

Personal Attributes:

  • Able to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Reliable and trustworthy, with a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Salary range: MMK 250,000 – 350,000 per month

Position Title: HR Manager

Department: Human Resources

Job Summary:
The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This includes managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation, and compliance with local labor laws. The HR Manager will also ensure a positive work environment and handle staff needs in alignment with the company's goals and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment & Staffing:

    • Develop and manage recruitment strategies.
    • Handle end-to-end recruitment processes including job posting, interviewing, and hiring.
    • Ensure staffing levels are appropriate to operational needs.
  2. Employee Relations:

    • Foster a positive work environment and handle employee grievances and conflicts.
    • Promote open communication and maintain healthy employer-employee relationships.
  3. Performance Management:

    • Develop and implement performance management systems.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and handle employee feedback.
    • Guide supervisors in managing performance and addressing issues.
  4. Training & Development:

    • Identify training needs and arrange internal or external training for staff development.
    • Plan and conduct onboarding sessions for new hires.
  5. Compensation & Benefits:

    • Develop and oversee the compensation structure in line with company budget.
    • Manage employee benefits programs and ensure competitive offerings.
  6. Compliance & Policy Management:

    • Ensure that the company complies with Myanmar labor laws and regulations.
    • Develop and update HR policies and procedures.
    • Maintain employee records in line with legal requirements.
  7. Workplace Culture & Safety:

    • Promote a positive workplace culture that aligns with company values.
    • Implement health and safety standards in the workplace.
  8. HR Reporting:

    • Generate and present HR-related reports (e.g., headcount, turnover rate, etc.) to management.
    • Track and report HR metrics for continuous improvement.

Job Specification (JS): HR Manager

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of HR management experience, preferably in retail or a related industry.
  • Experience in recruitment, employee relations, and labor law compliance.

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of HR software and tools.
  • Good understanding of Myanmar labor laws.

Entry-level HR Manager (1-3 years of experience):

  • Salary range: MMK 500,000 – 600,000 per month

Mid-level HR Manager (3-7 years of experience):

  • Salary range: MMK 600,000 – 900,000 per month

Senior HR Manager (7+ years of experience):

  • Salary range: MMK 1,000,000 – 1,500,000 per month
